Now onto other matters! ... I wanted to show you the before photos. I did a bit more scrapping today, to suddenly realise I was again spending far too much time looking for what I wanted, and also that I'd hemmed myself in to such a small space, when I have a lovely big desk. So in a funny five minutes, I decided enough was enough, and I was going to have a clear out! Plus I have gorgeous stash, which I don't use because it's hidden away. So I thought I'd share with you my room at this moment in time. I'll be back later in the week, to hopefully show you the finished article. And when I say "hopefully" - as I now I wonder, if maybe I should have done a small area at a time .. oh well, might as well roll up my sleves and get on with the job.
So here you are in true Blue Peter fashion ... the before shots.
Hope you're all having a great weekend, and I'll share with you during the week the other layouts I completed at the crop, and also how I'm getting on with my clear out, but now I better get back to clearing :)
I think sometimes it's hard to just do a small area at a time, usually because one area is dependent on another so for me I prefer to jump in with both feet :) It looks like you have a great space to work with, and oh you have so many crafting goodies!! I look forward to seeing the next installment :)
ReplyDeleteLove your week 2 layout. That's us all ready for week 3 tomorrow then.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the after pics, think there's s pretty craft room somewhere under all the stash lol

ReplyDeleteI like that layout - the red with the pops of yellow, perfect! Looking forward to seeing how the clean out goes.
ReplyDeleteLovely page, I really like the distressy edges. And I'm totally envious of the clearout. I need to do this and yes I really don't want to. And a lot of my stuff lives in cardboard boxes on the living room floor. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteRed and polka dots are a perfect choice for your vintage page. Lovely :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the grand clear out it's a constant battle in my craft room.
Your shelves look fantastic, what a great size and shape they are. It's going to look very chic when it's tidied up - very "where women create"!
ReplyDeleteI am very much an all or nothing person - tidying up one corner at a time never seems to work for me ;-) It's such a shame when things get out of control! But it'll be gorgeous when it's done. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteLovely vintage layout - the polka dots instantly give it that funky feel!

ReplyDeleteGreat layout Sandra, love the vintage theme. Hope the tidy/clear out has gone ok - I usually end up with a terrible mess which is worse than before when I attempt anything like this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful LO. I'm in the process of clearing my work area too. It always looks worst at first then it so nice after. Best of luck with your organizing.
