So, I thought a round up in photos would give you an idea of what I've been up to, I apologies that this post is photo heavy, and also to those that have seen some of them in Instagram.
Firstly,
I was busy making bunting for the party
and pom poms
I finally learnt to crochet. I attend a class at the most amazing place in Dorking, called Gorgeous Gerties, and the woman teaching, just was amazing ... and so finally it clicked.
At the same place, I did a dressmaking class, and made this skirt ... and I've already signed up to do the next stage in dressmaking, ... making a dress
I've been hand sewing a lot, and making these fabulous little hexi's ready for a quilt for the little house.
And my beautiful friend Michelanne, gave birth (finally) to the most beautiful, adorable little girl, called Charlotte.
Next ... the Silver Wedding Party
Making the invitations was fun
I so loved making this door wreath too
The marquee looked fabulous and was great fun to decorate
The food was AMAZING!!! Thank you to Celia, at Delightful Dining
Full House ... and partying until early hours of the morning (3am to be exact)
Darling little Matthew tucked into the sweetie bar ... you can come back and visit me anytime little man, even if it's just to finish off the sweeties xxx
The Groom
The bride, had waaaayyyy to many glasses of champagne.
My gorgeous Pandora bracelet, was my anniversary present
Always thinking Project Life ... I made these guest signing cards, so I have something to remember all those that partied with us
Finally the thank you cards have been made and sent.
So as you can see, we've been busy. We've also been given the go ahead with planning for the little house, so yipppeeee our next project begins.
Thanks for sticking through all the photos.
It looks gorgeous Sandra, I made some of those pom poms for my sons birthday and they both liked them so much they now hang under their cabin beds!!! Massive congratulations too...and then the dress making and sewing looks amazing :D
ReplyDeleteOh, your skirt is just gorgeous Sandra. I loved catching up with all your news, parties and projects. So glad the crochet has clicked at last. It's good to start afresh sometimes. As we head towards September, it's the perfect time to do it. A sort of second 'New year'!

ReplyDeleteoooh what a yummy post full to the brim with all things fabulous! I drove past Gorgeosu Gerties on the way to Gatwick last week and I pointed it out to the kids (they were not as excited as me!) I would love to learn to crochet....I will do it one day. Loved seeing all that you have been up to and the party looks fantastic xxx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you both and what a fabulous party.
ReplyDeleteI too was struggling with my blog reading as I couldn't find a replacement for GoogleReader and the ones I did try all had some issue I found frustrating. My solution - I split my blog to be read into those written by individuals (blog friends) and others. My personal ones are on feedly and the others are on The Old Reader - that way I can keep up with my friends each day and then read the other blogs if and when I choose to.
My word Sandra you have been very crafty indeed !! Looks like you all had a wonderful time celebrating your wedding anniversary !! Congratulations sweetie !!
ReplyDeletehugs Diane xx
