Vintage is hip! ... well that's for sure, judging by the Vintage Fair at South Bank on Friday.
I'd like to share some of the photos from the day. Of course I won't share them all with you ... I went a little mad clicking my camera at nearly everything, but a word of warning ...this is still a photo heavy blog post :)
I truly had just the most amazing day, just wandering around, soaking everything in ... my husband on the other hand, who luckily didn't come with me, just said ... "so Vintage Fair, isn't that just another word for Jumble sale!!!"
I saw this advertised how lovely that you got to pay visit. You didn't say if you picked up any vintage treasures while you were there?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab event - did you treat yourself to any of those fabulous items or were you very good and just took photos?
ReplyDelete'Jumble sale'...men!!!

Ooh you lucky thing:) It looks like a wonderful event for treasure hunting. Not jealous, not jealous....honestly not jealous. Jumble sale indeed!!
ReplyDeleteI was envious of anyone who got to go to this before I saw the pictures. Now I feel sick lol. My brother and I were talking about this yesterday and wishing we could have been there! It looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteOoh, looks like you had a great time. Did you buy anything?
ReplyDeleteTo explore all those wonderful vintage items would be such a fun adventure!
ReplyDeleteOh Sandra, I would have loved it as well !! Glad you had a fabby time !!

I'm sorry I didn't say what I bought, not much I'm afraid. I bought some vintage pins for a few layouts, and some lovely old Christmas tissue paper :)
ReplyDeleteThat does look amazing, I could have spent a couple of hours wondering around there too. I do think your husbands comment is funny though.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I would love this!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day, so much eye candy! Those gals can rock the vintage look for sure!

ReplyDeleteThe fair looks amazing, I would find it hard to restrain myself from buying everything!
ReplyDeleteWe love these types of events - most months we go to a local outdoor flea market near us (not this month though because temperatures are over 100 degrees here!).
ReplyDeleteYour pics are fab...would have loved a rummage through some of that lot!
