Simon took me first to this amazing little tea & cake shop, Bea's of Bloomsbury ... and it was all so lovely, I asked if I could take photos, I'm sure they must have thought I was a little mad, as I oohhh'ed and aahhhh'd over all the lovely little details; but it was all so wonderful, from the gorgeous chairs, to the sweet little vintage cook books behind glass cases.
And of course, it's not rocket science to know what I picked ... well, in my defence, Lent does start next week .... and it was covered with glitter!
After that we walked past St. Pauls, and no matter how many times I visit London, I'm always blown away by its beauty.
and lastly ... not a great shot, but I managed to sneak a photo of the hall where we had dinner, just before everyone trundled in
I'm looking forward to next week, as Simon is off on holiday, and although we're not going anywhere exotic, and yes he'll still have his mobile clamped to his ear ... we'll be out and about, so I can practice a little bit more photography and really learn how to take my camera of automatic.
yummy! and i love their chairs!
